BY ROAD
Take the A830 "Road to the Isles" for Mallaig, which is off the A82 just north of Fort William. Arisaig is approximately 45 minutes drive from Fort William, or 3 - 4 hours from Glasgow or Edinburgh.
CityLink coach services operate daily to Fort William from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Oban and Inverness. Shiel Coaches run a Monday to Friday service from Fort William onwards to Arisaig & Mallaig.
BY TRAIN
Direct from Glasgow to Arisaig, crossing many areas of scenic beauty, especially alongside Loch Lomond, Rannoch Moor and The Road to the Isles. This is the famous West Highland Line (said to be one of the best railway journeys in the world). There are also regular overnight Sleeper trains direct from London to Fort William.
In addition to the normal service which operates between Fort William and Arisaig/Mallaig, there is a unique steam train ride during the summer. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the station.
BY AIR
There are daily flights from London to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness. Guests can then continue their journey by hire car or coach, or take the train from Glasgow (connections available from Edinburgh station).
BY SEA
The pier is just a few hundred yards from the hotel's door for use by private yachtsmen.
Alternatively, from the Isle of Skye (Armadale) car ferry to Mallaig.

Arisaig is surrounded by an area of outstanding natural beauty, with craggy mountains rapidly descending to the many bays and inlets along the coast.

The sea is crystal clear and the beaches are renowned for their soft white sand, an ideal place for exploring rock pools and collecting many types of shell.

There is an abundance of wildlife to be found in the area, from inquisitive seal pups to majestic stags and magnificent sea eagles.

Arisaig is the gateway to the fabled Small Isles. Daily boat trips to the Small Isles of Rum, Eigg and Muck can be made during the summer months from Arisaig harbour. On such trips there are regular sightings of whales, dolphins, porpoises and seals along with many varieties of sea bird.
Fort William and Lochaber is very easy to get to regardless of where you are travelling from. The area is extremely well serviced with good rail and road links, and Glasgow and Inverness airports are 98 and 70 miles respectively from Fort William.
There are regular bus and coach services to and from Fort William via Inverness, Isle of Skye, Glasgow and Edinburgh
Locally, there are taxis who will pick you up from any Scottish airport or railway station and they also provide Highland tours. You can make arrangements to Rent a Car from any Scottish airport, or consider renting from a local garage in Fort William. Local Car Rental Companies will arrange to meet you when you arrive at the airport or railway station.
If you fancy being very eco friendly you could always walk! The West Highland Way which starts in Glasgow - Milngavie to be precise - ends 95 miles later in Fort William! Worth a try but allow about a week.
